This game is bad! You only pick 6 trucks, everywhere you go looks the same, and every time you touch something, it completely stop the truck, and makes you have to downshift, then upshift again - that can be very annoying, trust me.

I have to disagree . This is the best trucking sim out of all of the truck sims so far. This game WAS NOT CREATED BY SCS SOFTWARE, even though they bought the rights to the game and "claim" they created it. Hard Truck: 18 Wheels of Steel is a little dated by today's standards but it has "LIFE" the newer cookie cutter crap truck games cannot touch. Your driver has to rest no getting past it. There is speed traps set by police. You can and will get lost on your trips. You get to backup and hook up to a load, not have one magically appear from a icon. There is also random crash scenes that can and will block off your route from time to time making you wait and/or be late to deliver. And the trucks don't take off like nascars, you better plan your driving out because stopping sucks just like driving a real rig, you don't want do it unless you just have to. I have every truck sim today purchased and played and none of them can come close to the quality of gameplay this old game has to offer. I highly recommend Hard Truck: 18 Wheels of Steel to everyone with a IQ above 12 that enjoys good gameplay and realism.
