Ok, an easy way to get money instead of entering a cheat code is to buy a garden swing and call over somebody and get the relationship level to 100 (make sure the person isn't married to another sim). Then get off the swing and get the other sim to get off to. Then ask that sim to move in with your sim. If they say yes, then their money will be added to your money. After that you can just kick out the sim or stay with them.
